Featuring a refreshed exterior design, the SKODA Karoq retains its rugged, purposeful look while adding an extra layer of elegance and sophistication. Defined creases and a wide stance create a strong impression, while the streamlined front end boasts a new hexagonal grille and slimmer LED headlights, which lend a sense of refinement to this capable SUV. At the rear is an updated spoiler and taillights that feature dynamic indicators. The entry-level 1.0-litre TSI petrol unit delivers 108bhp and comes with manual transmission, while the 1.5-litre option produces 148bhp and 250Nm of torque. Newly installed for this variant is a cylinder deactivation system, which shuts down two engine cylinders under light loads, improving economy. The 2.0-litre diesel unit comes with an output of either 114bhp or 148bhp, and the latter can be specified with four-wheel drive when mated to seven-speed automatic transmission.
