The ŠKODA Octavia vRS showcases the athletic potential of the range, both visually and in motion. Similarly to the standard Octavia, the vRS can be chosen as an estate or a hatchback, but two brand new paintwork shades – Rallye Green and Race Blue – keep it one of a kind.
ŠKODA has designed the vRS to get your heart beating faster from the first look. It sits poised on 18-inch anthracite alloy wheels, dazzling with bi-xenon headlights and LED daytime running lights. Just as with the standard OCTAVIA estate, the vRS version includes roof rails and features a subtly longer wheelbase. There is also a special vRS 230 edition, marked out by aggressive gloss black details such as the exhaust pipes and exclusive vRS badging.
Stainless steel pedals and carefully sculpted seats give the cabin the feel of an immersive race car cockpit. You will find an ergonomic multi-function steering wheel at the driver's position, and a load-through armrest in the back. The rear seats additionally fold, making 1,740 litres of boot space.
The car's capabilities are demonstrated by any of the 2.0-litre diesel and petrol engines available.
It takes as little as seven seconds for the OCTAVIA vRS to rocket to 60mph from a standstill.
Selectable 'Performance Mode' instantly adjusts the car's dynamics for a track-inspired feel.
Following Euro NCAP testing, the OCTAVIA estate and hatchback took home a five-star safety score. Trust in the vRS model to keep you and your passengers secure. The ESC has been enhanced to include even more braking, traction and stability assistances. One reassurance which remains is the full complement of seven surrounding airbags.
All journeys are simplified by the Amundsen navigation system, part of a wide-ranging infotainment package fitted as standard. Access menus and functions quickly via the touchscreen, without breaking your concentration. You can also switch on cruise control and the in-cabin WiFi hotspot to make things even easier.

These vehicles are tested according to WLTP technical procedures. Figures shown are for comparability purposes. Please refer to and use the fuel consumption figures marked WLTP and the CO2 emissions figures marked NEDC equivalent for comparisons as from 1 January 2019. These are the official figures for the UK from 1 January 2019 and until further notice. Avoid making comparisons using the fuel consumption figures marked NEDC equivalent after 31 December 2018 or the CO2 emissions figures marked WLTP before 6 June 2020 – these figures are not official after/until that date and are provided for information only. Only compare fuel consumption and CO2 figures with other vehicles tested to the same technical procedures. Due to more realistic test conditions, the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions measured under the WLTP are in many cases higher compared to NEDC equivalent data. Figures may not reflect real life driving results, which will depend upon a number of factors including the accessories fitted (post-registration), variations in weather, driving styles and vehicle load. There is a new test used for fuel consumption and CO2 figures (known as WLTP). The NEDC CO2 figures shown however, are based on a calculation designed to be equivalent to the outgoing test cycle and will be used to calculate vehicle tax on first registration. Choice of wheels and other options may affect fuel consumption and emissions data. For more information, please see WLTP Info or contact your local ŠKODA Retailer.
